Welcome to 12 Months! 🎉 These are the rules for using our app. We’ve kept them short and fair.

📖What 12 Months Does

12 Months helps you create a digital baby book for your child’s first year. You can add photos, milestones, and growth measurements, and invite family members to view or contribute.

👤Your Account

• You need to be 18+ to create an account
• Use a real email—you’ll need to verify it to invite family members
• Keep your password safe; you’re responsible for activity on your account

📸Your Content

You own everything you upload. We just need permission to store and display it back to you (and anyone you invite). We won’t use your photos for marketing, AI training, or anything else—they’re yours.

Please don’t upload:

• Content you don’t have rights to share
• Anything illegal or harmful
• Content depicting child abuse (we report this to authorities)

👨‍👩‍👧Inviting Family

• You can invite people with “Full Access” (can add/edit) or “Read Only” (can view)
• Invitations expire after 24 hours and work once
• You can remove anyone’s access anytime
• You’re responsible for who you invite—make sure they’ll respect the content

💰Pricing

The app is currently free! If we add premium features later, we’ll be transparent about pricing and give you notice before any changes.

🗑️Deleting Your Account

• You can delete your account anytime in Settings
• We keep your data for 30 days in case you change your mind
• After that, it’s permanently gone

⚠️When We Might Remove Access

We may suspend accounts that:

• Upload prohibited content
• Try to hack or abuse the service
• Violate these terms

We’ll give you a chance to export your data first, unless it’s a serious violation.

🔄Changes to These Terms

If we update these terms, we’ll let you know in the app. Keep using the app after changes = you accept them.
